Case study – Fairlands Primary School Stevenage

Fairlands Primary school have been using the product since June 2017. Prior to this, the headteachers would spend several hours on Sunday evenings preparing for weekly assemblies, by finding resources to match the topic area from books and the internet.

Prior to Principles for life and learning, the children enjoyed the values assemblies, nevertheless Fairlands Primary School was open to a new injection of vibrant energy via a complete package of resources with original values songs at the heart of it. The Headteacher also wanted more music around the school.

The time saving aspect is also a massive selling point. This has eliminated planning time because staff can literally read the brief plan on the day of the assembly and then deliver it. All resources are ready to go!

The catchy, well produced values songs add an extra element of fun to the school community. The children learn the core values and assimilate it faster through music.

There’s something different to watch, listen to and be involved in each week. The children love the opportunity to contribute more in assemblies and being part of reflective activities. Their values homework and work in class is celebrated in assembly as part of the product.

“Principles for Life and Learning has had an inspirational impact on both adults and children around the school. It is a valuable addition to the school. We all remember the values due to the memorable songs”.
